ROYAL WEEKEND

ROYAL WEDDING

                     Harry and Meghan    /PicadillyPlace

Actually, I was very lucky to be in London during the royal wedding on May 19. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have now earned the title “Duke and Duchess of Sussex” and all London was on fire. For those who didn’t really support that monarchy, it was still a good occasion to have fun  so we all had good fun on that sunny weekend.
St James Park to relax

Free Attractions around Leicester Square

Underbelly Garden

Tyrannosaurus Rex

When you're in London don't miss the National History museum, it's free and you can meet the one & only T.rex

You can even have a frozen yogurt in a double deck bus!

NO WAY! I really love LONDON

THE BEATLES

YELLOW SUBMARINE

As I'm a great fan of The Beatles, after "love me do", let's tackle an other big tune from the Beatles  YELLOW SUBMARINE

   Catch the following lyris:
  YELLOW SUBMARINE

In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
In the land of submarines
So we sailed up to the sun
Till we found a sea of green
And we lived beneath the waves
In our yellow submarine
We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
And our friends are all aboard
Many more of them live next door
And the band begins to play
We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
(Full speed ahead Mr. Boatswain, full speed ahead
Full speed ahead it is, Sergeant.
Cut the cable, drop the cable
Aye, Sir, aye
Captain, captain)
As we live a life of ease
Every one of us has all we need
Sky of blue and sea of green
In our yellow submarine
We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine
We all live in a yellow submarine
Yellow submarine, yellow submarine

PRESENT CONTINU/ Be + BV_ING)

PRESENT CONTINUOUS (Be +BV-ING)

She’s playing the piano.

We‘re leaving tomorrow (nous partons demain)
to run (cvc)    You’re running away.
to give (donner) My son is giving me problems
to cry (pleurer)   The baby is crying

Tu as 2 exercices sur Be +ING à faire: Exercice 1
                                                           Exercice 2

Enjoy your holiday!

FREESTYLE FOOTBALL

Corentin Baron

Two weeks ago, I was a kind of Mc of sports award ceremony in Gentilly(94250) and I had the privilege & honour to present one of the top 5 French  football professional freestyler.
His name is Corentin Baron, he‘s very skilful with his feet and hands. Trust me; it’s a lot of training! First, homework and then football practise!
Just have a look on this short video (sorry for the pretty bad quality) and tell me if you can do better!

COOPETITIVE FOOTBALL

CO-OPETITIVE  FOOTBALL RULES

This is the first project we undertake with my year 7classes (6e3&4)

Co-opetition is a new term, it is competition and cooperation. There is a winner but there is more equity in the game!
Teams are all mixed.

-         1 classical football goal with a goalkeeper + 2 small football goals with no goalkeepers per team.
-         The goalkeeper must remain in his area.
-         Penalty: direct free kick from the centre circle
-         Unlimited substitutions
-         Players must not tackle.
-     Instead of a throw-in, a kick in is used      .
-         A headed goal  : 2 points
-         A goal scored by a girl  : 2 points
-         Free kick if you speak French!
-    Don’t swear at or argue with the referee or the other players.
-         Yellow card :3 minutes off/ Red card : Sending off
-         The rest of the technical rules are the same as the 11-a-side game!
-         If a team is led by 2 goals, it may pull a card out of 7 cards to equalize
                                                                                                                             .
Specific Cards: 1/ The goal keeper of the opposing team can’t use his hands
2/  A player of the of the opposing team can’t score
3/ A player of the opposing team can’t defend
4/ All corners and throw-ins for the losing team
5/ Goal posts of the opposing team are half enlarged
6/ Goal posts of the losing team are half narrowed
7/ Cancellation of a card                                                           Enjoy the game

There are 4 teams per class and each class has to find a name and a location of a Football Academy  related to British famous footbll players. It goes like this for 6e4:
Wayne Rooney Soccer Academy, London; Gareth Bale Football Club, Cardiff; Sean Long Football Academy, Dublin; Kenny Dalglish Football Centre, Edinburgh. Look how they are cute!

Gareth Bale Football Club, Wales
Sean Long Football Academy, Republic of Ireland
                                                                                                             .
2 Teams are missing !
Because of the bad weather we only practised once. The great Coopetitive Football tournament should start soon. In the meantime students from 6e3&4 have to revise to be ready.
